We make all of our goods from local lumberyards and are handcrafted- not just pumped out in a factor or warehouse. Every piece has had its own personal touch.

Water and mild detergent. Don’t soak your boards in water and do NOT put it in the dishwasher. Simply clean the surface of debris, rinse with soap and water and dry your board immediately with towels so there is no sitting water. Put your board on a flat surface to dry fully.

Don’t forget to apply Schroeder Woodworks Board Butter to rejuvenate and condition your board once it is dry.

At least once a month (or sooner depending on use and environmental conditions), apply a coat of food grade mineral oil to the entire surface of the board. Let it soak overnight. In the morning, wipe off excess oil.

In between mineral oil applications, I recommend using Schroeder Woodworks Board Butter (available for purchase). It is a combination of mineral oil and beeswax that sourced from local bee farmers. Apply the Board butter the same way you apply the mineral oil.
